Learn to Skate Schedule

Future Wings Summer Beginner/Intermediate
  • 6:00pm- 7:00pm (EDT)
  • Beginners:  Students will develop and enhance basic skating skills.  Shooting and stick handling will be covered, but the emphasis will be on skating.

    Intermediate: Students will do more complex drills deseigned to enhance basic skating skills.  Futer instruction on stick handling and shooting

Future Wings Summer Advanced
  • 7:00pm- 8:00pm (EDT)
  • Advanced:  High energy training designed for players who have passed beginner and intermediate programs or have instructor approval. 

    Drills desinged to coninue development and futher hance skating skills.  Focuses on the advanced techniques of skating and stickhandling, shooting and passing, along with basic team concepts.

Learn to Skate ALL AGES Spring 2
  • 2:10am- 3:00pm (EDT)
  • Each class will have 25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of practice without an instructor.  Students will be divided by age and skill level during the first class.  8 - 10 students per teacher.  There will be a onetime annual membership fee of $14 (good July 1st - June 30th) payable to ICES.  Students should dress warm, wear gloves, warm pants, skates and helmet (bike or hockey) if wanted.  Skate rental is available for $3.00 per class / day.

  • Beginners:  Students will develop and enhance basic skating drills.  Shooting and Stickhandling will be covered, but emphasis will be on skaing

    Intermediate:  Students will do more complex drills designed to enhance basic skating skills; crossovers, pivots and transitions.  More instruction on shooting and stickhandling.
